[The Glorious God Amaterasu™ was certainly not expecting to turn a corner and find herself in a completely different world. Or, well, to wake up from a nap and find herself someplace different, more accurately. Maybe she shouldn't have been sleeping on the job while restoring the Celestial Plain? Or she was having a weird dream. Or woke up from a dream. Either way, she didn't feel quite as powerful, the prayers and belief in her from home only barely reaching her.

But enough with the contemplation and moping! Ammy starts roaming around, burying her nose in things and taking food right off the shelves - even out of people's hands. No really, she's not a pig, she has to fill her Astral Pouch!

But she'll inevitably spend most of her day getting into trouble; eating food she shouldn't be taking, snatching something from someone in a fit of relentless curiosity, or just barking endlessly at someone. Bark bark bark.

[One minute he had a sandwich in his hands, the next? Gone. Ven slowly looks down at his hands in bewilderment before looking at the wolf... who has some awfully colorful markings. Huh!

But more importantly, she just swiped his meal. While Ven isn't necessarily angry, he does look down at Ammy with a bit of a frown.]

Hey, if you were hungry, you could've just asked.

[Not that it's the end of the world. There's always more where that came from.]

[She finishes the sandwich, licking her chops...

And then with Ven's offer, she drops her head lower and whines, tail wagging. She'll totally beg if that gives her more food!]

[risingwinds]

[You know, some people might call her out on her begging. They might even find it obnoxious.

Ven's too big of a softy, though. The minute Ammy starts whining, he scratches at the back of his neck before shooting a glance back at his house.]

Just gimme a sec, okay? There's gotta be some extra stuff stashed in the fridge.

[He'll start wandering towards the door. Fear not, food is coming!]

[Oh boy! Ammy follows him, hot on his heels. Not even thinking twice about whether or not it's rude to waltz into the house!]

[You know what? He's all for it. In fact, he'll stop right past the door and look down at her with a chuckle.]

Man, d'you always get this excited about food?

[Either way, it's cool. Just let him crack open the fridge and pull out some sandwiches. Looks like he's got some roast beef ones left, complete with cheese and tasty veggies. He'll just put the plate down on the counter before scooping up one of the sandwiches and holding it out to her like a pro.]

[You gotta enjoy the simple things in life! If you're not excited about food then what is excitement good for??? Ammy gobbles down the sandwich - aww man this stuff is so good that beef has an amazing flavor and what crisp veggies and it's all so cool man also what's this other stuff it tastes really weird



Whatever it is going through the excitable wolf's head, it doesn't keep her from eating that sandwich in only a couple bites.]

...I'm gonna take that as a yes.

[Hmm. Give him a second as he takes a bite of his own sandwich before looking down at her. She certainly does look stoked, and his soft spot for animals is telling him he should offer more. Who knows how much wolves actually eat?]

So, you still hungry? I didn't even know it was possible to eat that fast!

[Who knows how much wolves eat, but Ammy can eat half of the village's food in a day if left completely to her own devices. Ammy wags her tail at Ven, whining happily and appreciatively.]

[Darn it. Tail wagging and whining together? Ammy, you've got some crazy hypnotic powers, because now he's forking over two more sandwiches.]

Man, it's probably a good thing Kohan isn't here to see this. He'd probably complain about me bringing home stray animals.

[And handing over his food. Thankfully, Ven knows better than to empty an entire fridge for a total stranger.

But he'll go ahead and give her a star-shaped cookie for good measure. Just as an added treat.]

[Oh man, these new flavors! Ammy chows down, tail wagging her whole body in excitement. Oh man so good, what's this, holy crap this star-shaped thing is super sweet and dry at the same time whoa???]

Arf! Arf arf!

[Man, he never thought wolves could be so energetic. Ammy's barking gets a good, hearty chuckle outta Ven before he reaches down to pet her.]

You know, you're not half bad. I can't give you too much more today, but if you're ever looking for a snack, I can try to cook up some extras for ya.

[It's gotta be better than eating kibble, that's for sure.]

[She bumps his hand with her nose, tail wagging happily. Thanks, man!]
