[The Glorious God Amaterasu™ was certainly not expecting to turn a corner and find herself in a completely different world. Or, well, to wake up from a nap and find herself someplace different, more accurately. Maybe she shouldn't have been sleeping on the job while restoring the Celestial Plain? Or she was having a weird dream. Or woke up from a dream. Either way, she didn't feel quite as powerful, the prayers and belief in her from home only barely reaching her.

But enough with the contemplation and moping! Ammy starts roaming around, burying her nose in things and taking food right off the shelves - even out of people's hands. No really, she's not a pig, she has to fill her Astral Pouch!

But she'll inevitably spend most of her day getting into trouble; eating food she shouldn't be taking, snatching something from someone in a fit of relentless curiosity, or just barking endlessly at someone. Bark bark bark.

[Awww. She looks put-out! (Gee I wonder why, furball.)

Better cheer her up! Ammy runs off, plucks some of the flowers she grew before, and runs back, presenting them to Norma.]

[YEAH, I WONDER WHY THAT IS.

But Norma's already turned tail to leave the dumb mutt behind, though she hasn't gone too far at all. She had just assumed the sandwich stealing slobberhound decided to eat and run, so she was going to get something else for lunch - something that isn't in the mutt's line of sight.

Better catch up to her quick, mutt!]

[No problem! No one can outrun Full Throttle Ammy! With a determined growl, she races after Norma, sliding (and nearly falling over) in front of her.]

[Norma squeaks at the sudden appearance of the speedy animal, thinking it was going to target her as a food source or something, and goes into a very brief offensive stance, hand reaching into her bag for her bubble straw (shut up, it's totally a weapon).

But...dat fail. She blinks and rubs her arm uncertainly.]

Jeez, you're pretty uncoordinated, aren't you?

[A little. But she presents the flowers she's holding in mouth, tail wagging. Truce?]

Maybe you're not such a dumb dog, after all. [She smiles, and takes the offered flower, twirling it between her fingers.] You kinda remind me of a smaller, whiter, fluffier Spot, actually. Though you're a whole lot hungrier than he used to be! I mean, if you wanted food, you could've just asked. I mean, I maaay have given you some. You are kinda cute.

[Have a pet, Norma's pretty sure you're not going to eat her anymore or something.] Never seen you around before, uh...hm. You need a good nickname. Gimme a sec here, mm... Okay! Got it! How about Cream? Not bad, huh?

[Cream? Eh whatever, she's collected quite a plethora of nicknames already, what's one more? Ammy just whines contently and receives petting, tail wagging calmly.]

[Laughing, Norma treats her new friend (though still sandwich thief) to a good scratch behind the ears. After traveling with Moses and his galf pet/partner, Giet - nicknamed Spot - Norma's grown to know what canines like.]

Like that, huh? Maybe if you don't steal my food from now on, I can actually treat you to some scraps or something after work - or during. Dunno if you know where the bar is, but Im pretty sure you could follow your nose. [Which she now pokes.]

[Ammy huffs, almost like a laugh, and licks her nose. The promise of food is always a good promise!]

[Aww, what a cute thieving mutt! Norma's already growing kind of fond of it. And--oh, hey! It's actually got a pair of wings, now that she actually takes a closer look at the thing.]

Whoa, did you just show up here, too? Jeez, dunno what the Malno-nos could want with a dog, but I guess that's kinda a moot point by now... [SIGH.] Guess you'll figure it out sooner or later, but you're not exactly in your world anymore Cream.

[Yeah she heard something like that from someone else. It's confusing...]

[Norma sighs. Jeez, she's going to explain Luceti to a dog...what has her life become? Really, she doesn't even know if this dog can even completely understand her. It seems pretty smart, but just how smart is the question. Can it really understand what it s shes saying exactly? Well, we'll see.]

Jeez, I can't believe I'm doing this...and I'm guessing you can't read since you're a dog and all, right? And because that'd just be way too easy. Long story short, though? This is definitely not the world you were in before. It's called Luceti, run by the Malno-nos, you get wings slapped onto your back - be careful with those by the way - and you can't leave until said Malno-nos send you back themselves. Oh, and there are drafts and kidnappings and crazy Shifts or experiments that go on every so often to keep us all, mm...entertained.

There's a whole guide in your journal if you got one, but like I said, I dunno if ou can actually read it.

[Oh. Okay! Ammy chuffs and nods briefly. She can find out, then, when she finds someone with a slow, calm voice (and comfy lap and pretty face) to read to her.]

[If only Ammy knew there's a voluptuous, patient, kind-hearted beauty living with Norma, and if only Norma knew that this pooch was, uh...a little more human than she gives it credit for.]

Well...maybe I could do it, but not here. You got a place to stay, Cream? If FenFen's okay with it, you could maybe hang around our place for a while. You can sleep in my room because you're so cute and fluffy. [Smooshing those cute puppy cheeks, abububu. ♥]

[But for now she's lavishing in this attention. Staying in someone's house instead of outside in the rain (when that comes around) might be nice! And snuggling up with a cute girl when she wants? Sounds like a pretty sweet deal. Good thing Issun isn't here to ruin it. (Probably the ONLY reason it's a "good thing" for Issun to not be around...)]

[With a brief laugh, Norma ruffles the fur on the pooch's head before standing up a little straighter. She seems to have made her decision already, without the consent of her fellow housemates...ah well! At least Norma knows Grune and Sophie will be all for housing the cute white fluff for a while. The others maaaaay need convincing.
