[The Glorious God Amaterasu™ was certainly not expecting to turn a corner and find herself in a completely different world. Or, well, to wake up from a nap and find herself someplace different, more accurately. Maybe she shouldn't have been sleeping on the job while restoring the Celestial Plain? Or she was having a weird dream. Or woke up from a dream. Either way, she didn't feel quite as powerful, the prayers and belief in her from home only barely reaching her.

But enough with the contemplation and moping! Ammy starts roaming around, burying her nose in things and taking food right off the shelves - even out of people's hands. No really, she's not a pig, she has to fill her Astral Pouch!

But she'll inevitably spend most of her day getting into trouble; eating food she shouldn't be taking, snatching something from someone in a fit of relentless curiosity, or just barking endlessly at someone. Bark bark bark.

Now what are you? I've seen a few animals like you in heaven, but you seem much different.

[Forest spirit! What a neat spirit, too! Ammy can't help but bark excitedly, tail wagging profusely.]

[astralpouch]

[She lets out a pleased whimper, leaning into the patting! Yes pets, she loves pets.]

[Ammy licks her chops, looking remarkably pleased with herself. She likes food! There is no such thing as "too full" for her.]

[Mini-Totoro looks back at the king and then at Ammy and then back at the king, and this...probably goes on for a few minutes. But with the wagging tail at least, it doesn't seem like she's going to be bite-y. At least not yet.

So, one instant Totoro is on the roof. And the next he's right there, in front of Ammy, peering curiously at her, his big ole nose snuffling all the while.

Who are you and why do you smell funny, wolf?]

[Despite trying to save it, Saori's hands are just too slow though, and the fish is gone before she can even attempt to rescue it. But now she knows, you fish-thief, and she's protectively holding the remains of her boxed lunch against her chest. Though it still smells of spices and foods. Meaning there is definitely more to be had...]

I didn't say you could have it, you know. Are you always this grabby, wolf?

[Cilan has a very hard time believing in the supernatural (especially when it comes to ghosts), but otherwise he has had little problem with most of the other-worldly creatures or spirits here that he's met so far. After meeting residents such as the traveler or Totoro, seeing a large wolf shouldn't be as distracting anymore.

You know what is distracting, though? When said wolf's entrance involves snatching some fruit out of his hand that he had been inspecting.]

What--[Oh, a wolf. How curious...though Cilan does frown slightly.] You know, that's not in good taste to snatch food out of someone's hands. [But does he actually expect a wolf to care about that...]

[She's good at dodging, and finally she pivots in a decent area. She uses the Celestial Brush again, drawing a Power Slash over him. It'll just be blunt force, but it's as though an invisible sword attempted to slice at Vegeta.]

[Heaven? Well, she only just got back there, after a long time... err? She's not sure what Kohaku is getting at so she just tilts her head and whines in confusion.]

[astralpouch]

[She sniffs at the table, disregarding the fellow god for now.]

[astralpouch]

[She's the sun god and she smells fine thank you very much! Ammy buries her nose in Totoro's fur, tail still wagging.]

[Whoa! What a hair color! Ammy licks her chops, but redirects her attention to Cilan's face, tail wag slowing as she stared intently.]

[Darn.] Angels are those that work under God. To put it as simply as I can think of...when we're in Heaven, we have our own jobs, but on Earth we are there to help and watch over humans. Sometimes granting a wish if they deserve one.

[Kouki is just happily munching on some baked goods, while carrying a paper bag of said baked goods as he leave the bakery. Aw yeah, this is the good stuff.

...Only for a wolf to just up and snatched the bag away from him.]

[Correction: a white wolf with red markings.

So this young demon king blinks, look at his empty hand and then back at her, blinking.]

[Hmm? Something he said seemed to catch her attention. Something about the Malnosso perhaps? He wasn't the best at reading the body language of others, but what was when she seemed to react to him.]

You wish to know more about the Malnosso, perhaps? I am afraid I do not know a great deal... there are likely others who can go into more detail. However they seem to enjoy experimenting on us, the residents of this enclosure. Occasionally they will send strange metal creatures to capture individuals and take them away. When they are returned they have often been... changed in some way. A sense missing or a physical alteration, for example.

I have yet to experience anything particularly threatening, but some experiments will give uncomfortable side effects. Be careful.

[ WOLF MONSTER. WE ARE GOING TO BE GOOD FRIENDS.

And by good friends I mean, I hope you're ready to get barked back at.

Arietta may be fluent at Auldrant-Monster-ese but other worlds are still difficult, especially when they aren't of Tales Brand (tm) variety. So when Ammy barks, Arietta's first instinct (past the "let's be the best friends" one) is to respond in what she knows that's similar.

So have a human girl, who does a remarkably good impression of a wolf, barking back at you in what is somewhat clearly some different wolf language. ]

[Still protective of her food, she eyes the wolf back, her own nose twitching faintly. Not quite sniffing, but close enough to take in Ammy's scent.]

You're a cheeky little thing, aren't you? Stealing food and then ignoring questions like that.

[Honestly, Norma puts her sandwich down on her lap for one second to poke at her Relares notes and writings and...this. She only catches a faint, white streak from the corner of her eye before she looks up, then down at her lap (where there is a sudden lack of sandwich), then back up again.]

Hey! Oooh, you stupid dog! That was my lunch!

[niceneighbor]

[Well he hadn't expected that. Totoro reaches down and pats the wolf gently, his own tail swishing back and forth. What an odd creature you are, Ammy. This from a twelve foot tall catbearthing]

Toooo? [Questioningly, he rumbles deep in his chest. Your nose tickles!]

[One minute he had a sandwich in his hands, the next? Gone. Ven slowly looks down at his hands in bewilderment before looking at the wolf... who has some awfully colorful markings. Huh!

But more importantly, she just swiped his meal. While Ven isn't necessarily angry, he does look down at Ammy with a bit of a frown.]

Hey, if you were hungry, you could've just asked.

[Not that it's the end of the world. There's always more where that came from.]

[Oh man, that sounds totally creepy and evil, what the heck. Ammy growls warily, though it mostly seems in response to what Eley said rather than Eley himself.]

[Ammy perks up at the word 'God'. She's a god! She's the head god, totally.]

Arf!

[She absolutely is. She yawns, hopping down off of the table and sitting down. She is totally unapologetic for any of her behavior.]

[Your fur tickles, too! Ammy stands on her back legs, resting her front on his chest and sniffing more at his face. So biiiig, you look kinda like Sleepy.]

[Aww yeah. Man this stuff is great it's super rich and flavorful, totally unlike what she usually gobbles up. Chomp chomp slurp snarf

Ammy seems to completely disregard Kouki, despite having stolen right from his hands.]
